Known for more than 20 years as a top sideman on the Blues circuit and hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the "most solid New Orleans-style bassists around", Mike Stockton has come forward with a sound all his own that could redefine Texas blues. A tasty blend of R&B, blue - eyed soul, raw blues and roadhouse rock’n roll emerges from this slow-smoked, long overdue offering of original material from this seasoned veteran.
Stockton’s many live, studio and television performances include Saturday Night Live and Austin City Limits during his many years with Delbert McClinton and Greg Allman, along with Jimmy Page, Katy Webster (Otis Redding’s pianist), Clarence Bon Ton Garlow, ZZ Hill, Mason Ruffner, Doyle Bramhall, and many others.

Not content to rest on his laurels, Stockton continues to write new music and improving on what has been called "easily one of the best bands to come from Texas in a long, long time."
